The Best Free Procurement Content Websites

The internet is flooded with content, and staying on top of the ever-changing world of procurement can be a burdensome task unless you have the right go-to’s. The sources that bring you valuable insights, fresh perspectives, and maybe even answer a question or two.

Let’s highlight our favorites.

Procurious

Procurious, founded by Tania Seary, was a forerunner, launching in 2014 as the first free global business network aimed at curious procurement and supply chain professionals. Offering professional networking, skills development with a great lineup of free online courses in digestible pieces, industry events, news, and insights, it’s a one-stop-shop for your online procurement needs. We would be amiss if we didn’t give some honorable mentions to Negotiations Ninja, Ms. Category Management, and Buyers Meeting Point. Negotiations Ninja is a weekly podcast focusing on negotiation tips and techniques for those inside and outside of the procurement space. It is an excellent weekly source of procurement knowledge by host, Mark Raffan. Ms. Category Management is a blog operated by Dana Small. Dana focuses on supplier relationships, negotiation strategies, and general procurement happenings. She has her finger on the pulse of the procurement industry and shares often. Buyers Meeting Point, edited and largely written by Kelly Barner, is a one-stop shop for procurement news. Kelly is a really good writer, and curates news on the most timely topics in the procurement industry.

We would also like to give some shoutouts to some individuals in procurement, Sarah Scudder, Amanda Prochaska, and Sarah Barnes-Humphrey. All three are very active across social channels with exemplary LinkedIn skills, and are constantly pushing the discussions around procurement and supply chain to new heights.
